The inventory at May 1 and the costs charged to work in process dept B during May for Star Company are as follows:
10,000 units, 3/5 completed $63,000
From Dept A, 52,000 units 104,000
Direct Labor 357,500
Factor Overhead 167,400


During May, all direct materials are transferred from Dept. A the units in process at May 1 were completed, and of all the 52,000 units entering the dept. All were completed except 8,000 units which were 3/4 completed. Inventories are costed by the first-in, fist-out method.
