| Have you learned about the 5 journals, or still just one the 1, general journal?
If the answer is, what 5 journals? Then put all transactions in the general journal.
If in fact you know what I am talking about…
1) cash receipts journal (put all journal entries that involve the receipt of cash into here)
2) cash disbursements journal (all JE where cash is being PAID out)
3) Purchases Journal (all purchases made, put those JE in here)
4) Sales Journal (all sales)
5) General Journal (whatever doesn’t fit into the above 4) |
