    Examples:

    Variable Costs:
    Office Supplies
    Dinners for employees working late

    Fixed Costs:
    Rent as stated in a long term lease.

    Well, I am a customer service at a dry cleaning store, and I work here for about four years. At this place I see:
    Fixed costs: the rent( does'n matter how many cloaths we clean, we have to pay it); the insurance premium (every month is the same until the end of the year); the interest which the owner pay for his loan from the bank is a fixed cost( the bank wants its money and its not asking now many shirts we clean this month).
    Variable costs: detergents we use to wash the shirts or the chemicals to dry clean them are variable costs( if we don't have customers, we will not spent those things)
