Is there any particular spot? I figured because it was a payable it was a liability but does it matter where it goes under liabilities.

You mean the ordering of Current Liabilities?

For the most part, it doesn’t matter.

For Current Assets, you should list them in order of liquidity.

For Current Liabilities, I think you list them by amount owning, but I’m not sure. It doesn’t really matter unless you have tons and tons of Current Liabilities on your Balance Sheet.
