Cost Accounting Solution

The Ted Company is considering eliminating the following product line: Product C5-X Sales $40,000 Less variable costs: Production costs 25,000 Selling costs 5,000 Contribution margin $10,000 Less fixed costs: Production costs 15,000 Profit (Loss) ($5,000 ) What amount of costs is avoidable if Ted outsources production of this product?
