Financial Statement ananlysis

1. Are book values a good prediction of future earning potentials?

2. Should ratios be viewed as a starting point for ananlysis since they merely indicate what should be poresued in great depth ?

3. Should the dividend payout ratio gauge the proportion of current earning being paid out as dividends?

4. Is the financial leverage positive if the asset invested in has greater return then the debt or liability used to invest in the asset?
