Balancing Daily including Credit Card Charges

I work in a dental office, and we are ready to start accepting credit cards. I am used to balancing payments by check and cash. I'm not sure how to go about balancing daily if we accept credit cards. I know it takes 2 to 3 days for the charged amount to be deposited into our business checking account. Please advise!! Thank you.

Generally, if it's visa or master card, you can assume payment is cleared.
