Balance sheet

My company's balance sheet is off 34500.00 when ever i make j/e's it is still off what could be some of the issues. the 34500.00 difference is in the trucks/equipment account.

How do you know its the truck/eqpt account that is off?

If your off the amount of the truck asset account, did you account for accumulated depreciation on the credit side? Or, if the trucks have a liability account, maybe the Note Payable is incorrect for truck. Check your general ledger amounts and do a trial balance and see if it equals.
