Dr. Supplies Expense
Cr. Supplies

The amount that you credit supplies will bring you to the actual amount you have on hand. Example. You purchased 300 dollars worth of supplies. You now only have 75 dollars worth of supplies left.
The journal entry for this is

Dr. Supplies Expense 225
Cr. Supplies 225
