project renovation is a part of Profit in Elaborate Break Even Point or not

Dear All
I would be thankful if you could help me in knowing that whether provision on project renovation is a part of Profit in Elaborate Break Even Point. If not Why??
I am reading a book of Indian Writer(Saxena Vashisht), he has not included it in profit.
