If my assests increase by $15,000 and my libilities $6,000 during a period,will my owers equity increase or decrease by 9000?

Assuming you meant Liabilities increase by $6,000.

Then your owner's equity will increase by $9,000

Assets = Liab + OE
+15 = +6 + ? Therefore, OE is a plus 9
