Visual Fox Pro 9.0 data to Office documents (Word/Excel/Access)

I need to interface with VFP 9.0 database and extract data to Office programs (like Word/Excel) and generate reports from it to a document template (for Word). Any advice how to place a drop down menu with data from the VFP tables and populate further fields in the document relevant to the user's selection from the drop down? Thank you in advance for any help anyone can offer.
