Hey all...just wanted to add that if you are planning to install your shower valve centered to shower unit, then put your studs on ends as Ballengerb1 said, and then a stud 6 inches to left of center and a stud 6 inches to right of center...then install shower valve on center and hang to these studs...span across with piece at shower head height and connect the shower head via a drop ear elbow screwed to that. Just a thought for you. Good luck.
