    How much taxes should I get back
    Hello, I want to know how much federal tax will I get back if my earnings were 38,155.76 and fed witholding was 2,429.25

    What is your filing status ? Single or Married etc
    Do you have any other income or expenses ?
    If you have no other income than you owe $1,591 in terms of Federal Tax.
    I can tell you exact if you provide more details.

    This will depend on what your filing status is and just how many dependents you can claim. This will vary wildly in the amount you will get back. Try the Turbo Tax online version for free to see how much you will get back. They only charge you when you complete the filing and actually want to efile it. You can do both state and federal online with them.

    I suggest TaxAct. They do charge, but only when you efile.

    I am single filing head of house hold with one dependent.I made 56,000 dollars this year.federal cut me 6,000 dollars.how much will I get back on federal.

    HI there I am filing my taxes with my boyfriend this year. He received the FTHB credit of 8k which we received already. I was not a first time buyer though. What's the best way to file so we don't have to PAY, but get a refund. Also I have not owned in a year and a half do I qulaify for anything additional with this puchase?
