No Heat fron Central Air Unit
I had previously posted a question regarding a wirering possible problem being that I had a friend put in a new (LUXPRO PDS100) thermostat. I wanted to note that I have also a separate heat thermostat on a separate wall. The main Central air (LUXPRO) is wired with 5 wires, green to G, yellowto Y, white to W, red to RC jumped to RH, and orange to O. the B on LUXPRO is vacant. With the separate heat thermostat being RED and WHITE wire and is connect at heat at the unit. My question is is do I need a special thermostat do to having a separate thermostat for heat or do I not have the LUXPRO wired right, or do I need to know a special way to turn the heat on.

Do you have a heat pump and a gas furnace?
What does the other thermostat control?

I found out that is is Electric Heat pump. And other thermostat is to my Propane burning fireplace that at this time is not in use. I feel totally out og order here since I had just bought this place. My other home was oil furnace. But now to compound my problem the blower will not turn on at all. It was at least turning on yesterday but no heat, the cool air did work also. Now nothing at all.

You may have blown a fuse or burnt out the transformer, look in your air handler on the printed circuit board for a fuse, if you have a volt meter you can check for 24 volts. Good luck, Mike
