Sorry, I've created some confusion here!

Limewire, the program itself, is legal, and that's OK to download.

But the majority of the files that are shared via it are not done so legally.

Basically, if you download anything via limewire that you normally would have paid for, music, films, DVDs (including ones of TV shows), software etc... Is theft, same as stealing it from a shop!
