Repairing dimmer switch on floor lamp
I have a large floor lamp and the dimmer quit working. The light still turns on and off but only does full brightness when on. Is it easy to fix this? Anyone able to offer some tips?

    Thanks

All I can suggest is to take it apart, remove the defective dimmer switch and bring to a hardware stroe to match up with a new one, and install.

Cannot tell you if this is easy or difficult, we cannot see the lamp from here, and have no idea of your skills.

I could post a picture of the lamp if it would help but I didn't think it would. It is a rotary dimmer switch. I found a picture online of a similar style lamp (attaching) just to give you an idea of what I am dealing with.
I don't know if this helps with any tips or not. Just trying to provide more information

I don't have any tips other than start taking it apart.
