Honestly I believe that you are high ($) Jak.
May I ask how long you have been in this business? Why I ask is that you have to acquire efficiencies. By that I mean getting better with the time you spend cleaning. You need to organize yourself and your people to do more intelligently. You have to survey what you are doing and where you are putting your time. In areas where you are only collecting the trash for example there is less time spent, in areas where there is more to do...more time. I know that this sounds to simple but you will be surprised how much time you are wasting where you shouldn't be.
Medical cleaning is serious business people's health depend on you to make sure that all is especially clean.
Do you have a Hazardous Communication Program? Are you OSHA compliant? Do you have an MSDS? Do you know what Universal Precautions are? Do you understand Blood Borne Pathogens? Do you know what PPE is?
80% of our business is medical cleaning ranging from clinics to surgical complexes and hospitals.
Let's talk.... Actually I believe that you can make a nice profit and do a great job at $0.18 / sq ft or less.
