    always feel sick.can't drink water
I have been seeing a specialist about my stomach problems, but they can not seem to find the root of the problem. I had been recieveing naet treatment (homeopathic) for food sensativities, but that was not working. I have had x-rays, catscans, and upper GI series, have been tested for cilliacs disease, stomach cancer... I do not have an ulcer or lactose intolerance... everyone seems to be stumped.
another part of my problem is that I do not have the ability to puke. It sounds strange, but in high school I had a phase of bulemia, but one day I attempted to make myself puke and I could feel it coming up, but it was as if it hit a brick wall close to the base of my neck. For years now I will get the flu or food poisioning, but I can not puke, no matter how hard I may try. This inability makes me feel terriable. Imagine that feeling that you receive before you puke where you know that once it comes up you will feel better... well I dry heave, and feel like I have to puke but the feeling just stays.
my final issue is that I have difficulties drinking water. I had a sencativity to the minerals in water, but received a treatment for that. When I drink water, I feel nauseous. On occasion if it is really cold I can handle it, but water just makes me feel ill.
so do my problems tie in together? Or is my body just a little strange? Does anyone know what could be causing these symptoms?
    thanks

    Sugar addiction - drinking water

I have had the same problem. I couldn't drink water without getting dizzy. Not even the smallest amount.

I have now discovered that I'm sugar sensitive, and that has been the problem, all of these past years.

Basically it is about eating different. Be sure to eat enough proteins in your 3 main meals of food everyday. And then don't eat any sugar. After a while you can drink water without being dizzy.

For further info, search Google for "sugar addict". I myself, have read the book by Kathleen DesMaisons, but there are many books about the subject, out there.

Glad to see that I am not craazy and someone else has the same problem! For 20 years I have been telling people that it makes me "sick" to drink water, they don't believe me. If it is really cold ice water or if I add a tsp of "powdered drink". I would love to find out why this is.

Well I'm happy that I'm not the only one. My parents said it's an actual 'issue'. Not a bad issue but like it can't be cured. Similar to dyslexia or something. It isn't bad but it isn't something that curable if you have felt it your whole life. It's like some mental thing or something.

My problem is, is that I love water. But I can't drink it without getting really sick and tired feeling. It always makes me feel like puking. The funny part is that I'm a competitive swimmer so I spend a lot of time in the water. And surprisingly the only type of water that can enter my body without making me feel tired or sick is Chlorine and salt water. And that's only because I swim all the time.

I can't drink water anymore since I had my gall bladder out 8-9 months ago. Not sure if it's related, but pretty sure it is. The only way for me to keep it down is in coolaid and it's so sugary I get a headache anyway. It's horrible I hate coolaid with a passion now. Sometimes I just wait for it to get really bad and get IV fluids. Can't drink it or eat ice if I tried, not only does it make me feel sick but my body CAN NOT keep it down at all.

I wouldn't worry about not being able to throw up. I haven't thrown up in over 30 years. You could try making smoothies for digestion. This is a smoothie I make for people with stomach issues. Ice, fruit, stonyfield yogurt, food grade aloe.
