    Boohound- the 1935G silver certificate you have is called
    a STAR note;; SOMETIMES ITS CALLED a REPLACEMENT NOTE
    NOTE= A star note such as yours , durning the printing of the paper money this note was found to be damaged some way , the note is pulled out and it is recorded in the record book then taken to the furnace anburned,then they print another note just like the one they burned and the only difference is this one has a [STAR before the serial number] you will find these star notes in every denomination of paper money;; now then ,the number R8210in the bottom right corner is the [plate number ,the check letter & CHECK NUMBEROH you will find the STAR -just at the beginning of the serial number or on the end . It can be a red, green ,blue star ;;the plate number -if it is a four (4) number , then it means that in the currency book it is catalog number[#1617 ] note =every note has its own catalog number;;Shazamataz is wrong- he is talking about a regular note -not a star note, they are a lot more vauleable then a regular note is ,as you are about to find out ;;IM going to give you the values of a reg note and then one like yours a star note;; VF-20 means [very fine-grade 20, ;UNC-63 means unc irculated,grade 63] [ #1617-1935G-s/c;in VF-20=$5.00 :: #1617-UNC-63=$40.00];; #1617*NOTICE ( *)
    VF-20-$30.00 ::in UNC-63* + $200.00 NOW FOR A NOTE;=IN the currency book it shows 4[two sets of 2 catalog numbers ;Same signatures=SMITH AND DILLON;;Both are dated 1935 Gseriesnow there is a difference in the two notes,all are identicle except for the SIZE of the bill in width ; THE one you have is the second one[THE DIFFERENCE IS =the width is [the wide variety is 1/16 "[inch] WIDERthen the narrow one also a way you can tell is them apart is [the notes with the wide designs designs have [4 digit plate numbers;;

    CLOUGH = The black is a pretty good book on both coins and paper currency
    I used to use only the black books but a few years ago I went to the red book on both coins and currency;; the best and most reasonable in cost is from {Amazon .com] somwe times it is hard to get to the right site; the way I found to do it is type in[ redbookoncoins] or[ ;;Hope this helps red book on UNITED STATES PAPPER MONEY};; I hope this helps, BUT I like the red better I guess ;; Have a great night and a better tomorrow MY FREIND::F.B.E.
