I just got a similar answer from my very wise 75yr old Mom. I just hope I can keep my cool. I tend to get upset very quickly...
This woman is married to an abusive man. I had once offered her comfort and support until I realized she was intent on staying with him.
She also had to work her way up in this job. I, on the other hand, moved up quite quickly.
Ive never really known how to handle people that are jealous. I don't have much of that green eyed monster in me. I know better than to accuse her of this. She would use that to slander me even more. Ugh!
