    There is no specific way to fix a downdraft problem since it can be caused by many different things. Also you should consider having the heat exchanger checked since a crack in the right spot can also put the pilot flame out.

    Many times the vent going out the roof is to short or the cap is missing causing this type of problem also. NOTE: If the pipe needs to be raised it takes a special type of pipe made for the roof jack brand you now have other wise it may make it worse. NOTE I still do not recommend adding a spark lite kit to a furnace in a mobile home since they are not approved unless offered from the original manufacturer.
