There will be a bracket that comes with it that must be SECURELY mounted to the studs in the wall...or you tear out some drywall and mount a 2x4 between the studs to mount it to.

You'll also secure it to the cabinets on either side of it - and to the cabinet above it.

You'll also need an electric line to feed it.

The only question remaining is if it's on an outside wall, would you like to vent it outside?

If so, then you'll need a sleeve and a duct (that may or may not come with it) to do so...and you'll then need some finishing work on the exterior.

I've only done one of those and it was a few years ago, but I do remember that the directions that came with it were quite good...and it was a pretty simply diy job that only required basic tools.
