    USB Printer on LAN
    Hi,


    I have a USB printer whivh connects direct to a PC, is there any way to cuople it to the ethernet LAN so it can be used by all PC'S on the LAN?

    If so what kind of adaptor / software would I need

    This is quite easy to do with Windows as it stands.
    Just share the local USB attached printer.
    The only down side is that the host computer needs to be on for anyone to print to the USB printer.

    Your other option is to make the printer a network device. You would need to get a small print server to do this, something like this:
