There are a lot of different calculations, but the only way to work it out for you, is to keep a diary for a normal week (one where you do not change weight) where you record every single thing you eat and drink. At the end of the week, average it all out, and you have your maintenance calories, perfectly tailored to your lifestyle.
As a very rough rule of thumb, most people who commute to a desk job, but do go the gym or exercise regularly, need about 13 calories per pound of body weight. If you are young or male or active or breastfeeding, you may need more. Female or older, you may need less.
