How to register as American Indian?
How do I register as a Native American Indian or is there a web site to go to? I have looked on the internet and can't seem to find the right link.

In my area you register with your tribe, not on a nationwide site.

Then the tribal info is sent to various sources.

You have to be over a certain percentage American Indian.
I think it is something like 45% or 65%.
What are you? I have the links to some tribes.

Well, my grandfather was a 100% Oneida(my mothers side), and I also have Indian from my fathers side, but not the percentage from his side. It's the Oneida tribe.

The only way to know for sure is to telephone the Oneida Tribal office and ask what they require and how to register.
